Safari Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking our safari services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to keep yourself informed of any changes to these terms, which may be updated from time to time.


1. Booking Confirmation

  • To secure your reservation, a partially refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
  • The remaining balance must be settled before the start of the safari.


2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 90 days or more before the safari start date will incur a 10% cancellation fee. Any fees paid to the lodges by Msangai from the deposit paid are not refundable. Instead, a credit note will be issued that can be utilized anytime in the future without expiry.
  • Cancellations made less than 90 days before the safari start date are non-refundable & non-creditable.


3. Itinerary Changes

  • The itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, wildlife movements, or any other factors beyond our control.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any changes and provide suitable alternatives.


4. Travel Insurance

  • It is mandatory for all clients to have comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical expenses, and emergency evacuation during the safari.


5. Health and Medical Considerations

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for the safari.
  • It is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional for necessary vaccinations and health precautions before traveling to Tanzania.


6. Travel Documents

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents for entry into Tanzania.
  • We are not liable for any consequences resulting from improper documentation.


7. Responsibility and Liability

  • While every effort will be made to ensure your safety, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the safari.
  • Clients participate at their own risk, and they are advised to follow the instructions of the safari guide at all times.


8. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and government actions.


9. Code of Conduct

  • Clients are expected to adhere to ethical wildlife viewing practices and respect local customs and traditions.
  • Any behavior deemed disruptive or unsafe may result in immediate termination of the safari without refund.


10. Payment Methods

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer or other agreed-upon methods. Please ensure payments are made in the agreed-upon currency.


11. Complaints

  • Any complaints or concerns should be brought to the attention of the safari guide or company representative immediately to allow for timely resolution.


12. Termination of Services

  • We reserve the right to terminate the services of any client who jeopardizes the safety, well-being, or enjoyment of other participants or engages in illegal activities during the safari.
